The Merlin Heritage Collection seamlessly blends classic styling with modern protection to create a versatile selection of motorcycle clothing. We use a range of different market-leading materials, including Halley Stevensons® Waxed Cotton, D3O® armour and Reissa® waterproofing to ensure the highest quality. Our heritage collection also expands into leather garments for retro riders who want the old-school looks minus the signature feel of waxed cotton. Merlin Lombard Cotec Trousers

Designed to effortlessly partner with our range of Explorer and tech wax jackets, the Lombard trousers contain all the great features found in the same collection. The Cotec wax cotton outer has been designed exclusively in collaboration with Merlin, and is backed by an Outlast temperature-regulating liner and additional Reissa Active membrane, making Lombard the perfect versatile trouser capable of tackling all weathers. A suite of Level 1 D3O Ghost armour is fitted to the hips and knees, and the trousers overall receive a reassuring CE Level ‘AA’ rating. Available in sizes S-4XL in a choice of short (30in) and regular (32in) leg lengths.

Caring for your Lombard Cotec Trousers

To care for your trousers, begin by lightly brushing off any dirt or soil, and use a cold damp cloth if necessary to wipe down the trousers. Clean them in this way regularly to maintain their appearance, but don’t be too harsh as the wax will be removed. You can re-wax the trousers with our Merlin Wax Cotton Tin when the trousers lose their waxed finish and water begins to soak into the cotton rather than bead off.
