The Merlin Heritage Collection seamlessly blends classic styling with modern protection to create a versatile selection of motorcycle clothing. Merlin Stanton AAA Jacket

Introducing the Stanton, a shorter, more athletic take on our CE AAA-rated tech wax riding jacket. Built from Scottish Halley Stevensons tech wax (Cotec), it combines the character of traditional waxed cotton with a lighter, more responsive feel, engineered for riders who favour a more dynamic silhouette.

Cut to a mid length profile, the Stanton delivers a sharper, purposeful fit without compromising protection. Beneath the outer, reinforced zones enhance durability and rider safety, while a highly rated Texland Humax membrane provides dependable waterproofing when the weather turns. A removable full-body thermal liner offers warmth through colder rides, easily detached as conditions improve, with multiple ventilation points opening airflow when the pace, or temperature rises. Inside, British Marton Mills tartan lines the Stanton, grounding its modern performance in heritage detail.

As a complete riding solution, the Stanton comes equipped with five pieces of D3O armour pre-fitted and includes chest armour pockets, allowing protection to be increased to a full seven-piece set.

Thoughtful finishing details complete the design, including magnetic front closures for ease of use, an internal sunglasses pocket, and a three-point belt system for a secure, fit to Merlin trousers or jeans.

Caring for your Stanton Jacket

To care for your wax cotton jacket, begin by lightly brushing off any dirt or soil, and use a cold damp cloth if necessary to wipe down the jacket. Clean it in this way regularly to maintain its appearance, but don’t be too harsh as the wax will be removed. You can re-wax the jacket with our Merlin Wax Cotton Tin when it loses its waxed finish and water begins to soak into the cotton rather than bead off.
