ThermaVolt Heated Midlayer Trouser

Made to sit between a base-layer and outer trouser, the ThermaVolt apparel is a thinner, lighter alternative to other heated products. As a mid-layer, the THERMAVOLT features micro carbon fibre heated panels within seat, thigs and lower leg ensure riders get heat where needed the most.

The ThermaVolt trouser and matching jacket, purchased separately, are able to raise your core temperature and retain the warmth it provides. It is fitted with our Heat Reflection System, which is a very thin film on the inside of the shell fabric, that reflects heat that would otherwise be lost, back into the user. This makes the ThermaVolt more efficient.

Plug straight into a 12v bike battery using the connecting cable which is supplied with the trouser, or alternatively power up using the high capacity 6,000mAh battery pack which can be purchased separately. ThermaVolt trouser features three heat settings which are all controlled by the Merlin power unit. Also, riders can connect the jacket to the ThermaVolt matching midlayer jacket using a Y connector cable.

Charging your ThermaVolt Trousers

The ThermaVolt Trousers comes equipped with a lead that allows you to connect it to your motorcycle’s 12V power source, providing consistent warmth while riding.  If your motorcycle doesn’t have a 12V power source or you prefer to use it off bike, then a rechargeable battery is available separately.  Merlin’s rechargeable 6000 mAH battery comes as part of a kit that includes a battery, battery charger and an apparel Y connector lead.

The Y connector lead allows you to connect the trousers to the jacket to deliver heat through a single power source.  The connector also connects to the socks but we would recommend using the sock rechargeable batteries if not powering using a motorcycle 12V power source.
