Explorer offers rugged styling, durability and protection while incorporating the signature Merlin styling using only the best materials and components, such as Halley Stevensons® waxed cotton, D3O® armour and Cordura®.
Merlin Borderlands D3O In Boot Trousers
As part of the Explorer collection the new Borderlands trouser with accompanying jacket is the perfect all season touring and adventure solution. Built to be both a versatile and high performance trouser but without the premium price tag. Riders can experience the CE AA rated safety through a Tactel laminated outer shell that has a 10k/10k waterproof and breathable rating. Inside is a detachable thermal lining and D3O’s leading impact protectors. This trouser has an in the boot fit, a first for Merlin. This provides the benefit of weather protection with an in the boot fit, opposed to Condor, which fits over the boot.
