All Merlin products carry a 12 month guarantee from purchase date against defects other than accessories where a warranty of 180 days applies. The guarantee excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, inappropriate use or care and repair other than Merlin. Merlin may repair or replace any guaranteed item at its discretion. All claims should be made to the retailer. This guarantee gives no further rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential losses or damages. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. By registering your product online you activate a 2 year guarantee (from date of purchase) totally free (excludes accessories). You are required to register within a month of purchase and retain your receipt for any claims. If a product is replaced under warranty, your new/replacement product is only covered for the 2 years from the original (first product) purchase date and does not qualify for new 2 year period guarantee, therefore a new guarantee registration does not qualify. Merlin does not offer hire gear or offer replacement product whilst a repair/replacement is undertaken.
